Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior GCP Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Set up, migrate, and manage platform solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within a database team

Ensure cloud environments are stable, scalable, and adhere to established guidelines

Support development of internal platforms and actively share expertise across the organization

Participate in technical decisions and help establish efficient processes for platform management and cloud migration

Plan and execute work independently while maintaining high-quality delivery and meeting deadlines

Collaborate closely with the team to drive best practices for GCP operations, Kubernetes (GKE), and cloud-native solutions

What you bring:

At least two years of experience as a cloud engineer or equivalent within GCP

Previous production experience with GCP, including cloud migrations or new environment setups (landing zones)

Relevant academic education or documented training, certifications, or equivalent experience

Experience with GKE and cloud-native orchestration

Strong Swedish and English communication skills, both verbal and written

Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Cloud Build

Familiarity with Crossplane, Kubernetes, Envoy, and EntraID

Experience with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and modern security principles such as Zero Trust, Least Privilege, and DevSecOps

Proven experience in complex, transaction-intensive IT environments with high availability, confidentiality, accuracy, traceability, and accessibility requirements, ideally in B2C domains such as retail, banking, or finance
