Assignment Description

We are looking for a hands-on Security Engineer

What You Will Work On

Deploy Microsoft Defender for Identity (V3) on Domain Controllers (passive mode)

Migrate from Trend Micro XDR to Defender for Endpoint across ~2,100 devices

Configure and optimize endpoint protection policies (ASR rules, security baselines)

Transition from Trend Micro Mail Protection to Defender for Office 365

Implement and configure email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

Ensure equivalent or improved security posture during migrations

Work with Microsoft FastTrack resources and internal stakeholders

Perform PowerShell scripting and automation where needed

Provide best practice recommendations and technical guidance

Drive implementation independently and ensure timely delivery

What You Bring

Proven experience implementing Microsoft E5 security capabilities

Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Defender suite

Experience working in hybrid environments (Entra ID + on-prem AD)

Ability to drive technical implementation independently

Strong PowerShell scripting skills

Experience with endpoint and email security migrations

Good understanding of security best practices and frameworks

Strong problem-solving and execution capabilities

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

This role is primarily remote, with a requirement to be onsite in Skåne County once per month
