We are looking for a Safety Analyst!

Are you passionate about aviation safety and enjoy being at the heart of operations? If so, the Safety Analyst role might be the perfect fit for you! As a Safety Analyst, you will be part of the team responsible for coordination and analysis of occurrence and hazard reports, with a direct influence on the safety of our operations.

Challenges you will work on:

Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in this role, as the team serves all parts of the SAS Group with safety coordination services including, but not limited to:

  • Coordinating occurrence reports within the occurrence reporting system
  • Defining, maintaining and continuously improving the occurrence report handling process
  • Ensure mandatory and timely reporting to CAA's and other relevant authorities
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties concerned
  • Perform safety analysis

To be successful, we believe you have:

A solid, documented (preferably recent) experience within the airline industry. Furthermore, you have experience and sound knowledge of civil aviation regulations (EU 376/2014), SAS Airline Operations, as well as Safety Management Systems and procedures.

You have an educational background within aeronautical engineering or other relevant aviation background with focus on technical aspects, for instance from CAMO or P-145.

In addition, you have:
• Very good command of English, both verbal and written
• Very good knowledge of IS/IT in aviation reporting systems
• Knowledge of one of the Scandinavian languages is beneficial.

  • Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period
  • This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
