Production Technician

We are looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join our growing team.
In this role, you will work close to both engineering and production, contributing directly to the fabrication and assembly of high-quality metal and composite components, from early prototypes to first-of-their-kind installations used in real aviation operations.

This is a practical, detail-focused role for someone who takes pride in building things right and enjoys variety, responsibility, and technical craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and test metal or composite structures according to technical drawings and specifications.

• Work with hand and power tools to cut, grind, drill, paint, and shape components with high precision.

• Inspect and verify parts to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.

• Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and robust.

• Assemble everything from small test articles to advanced, one-off or low-volume assemblies.

• Follow company and aviation-related safety procedures and quality standards.

• Document work performed and maintain accurate production records.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, fitting, assembly, composite work, or similar hands-on technical roles.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

• Experience using workshop tools and machinery such as press brakes, shearing machines, or similar equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to quality.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, collaborative team.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Background

You do not need prior experience from the aviation industry to succeed in this role. We believe you may come from a background such as:

• Industrial or mechanical manufacturing

• Automotive, rail, or marine industries

• Composite fabrication or advanced workshop environments

• Prototype, test, or low-volume production settings

What matters most is your craftsmanship, technical curiosity, and ability to work accurately from drawings. Aviation-specific standards and processes will be introduced as part of the role.
