We are looking for a Product Specialist to work with our market leading robotic milking of dairy cows, primarily the Voluntary Milking System (VMS).
Our milking systems are designed to improve the efficiency, productivity and welfare of dairy farms around the world
Role and responsibilities
You will be part of our team that works with the latest technology and is at the forefront of innovation in the industry. Our Product Specialists have the product ownership of the VMS portfolio. This includes making decisions with regards to product lifecycle management, quality assurance, executing on road map plans as well as securing the future competitiveness of the VMS system. Your daily job consists of multiple speaking partners and cross functional work - adjacent Product Owners, R&D teams for Product Development, Markets globally, Suppliers and Sourcing departments. The Product Specialist is a key role in the bridge between our Markets and R&D teams.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Product ownership of the VMS product.
- Leading requirement management of the VMS product.
- Ensure product competitiveness for quality, functionality, and cost.
- Supporting our markets to promote and sell the VMS systems.
- Contribute to the innovation and development strategies based on market input.
- Manage the quality work and warranty claims resolution.
- Maintain spare-part assortment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- University degree in Engineering, Product Management, Technical Agriculture or experience equivalent to similar degree.
- Have experience with or in product management.
- Good listener and communicator who can combine commercial knowledge, product capabilities and process requirements into solutions to provide high business value.
- Process minded; able to deliver according to a defined strategy/provide strategic input.
- Fluent English, spoken and written. Fluent Swedish is beneficial. Other languages are appreciated.
We're looking for someone who is organized, analytical and can adapt to fast pace changing environment. You'll need to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be a strong influencer.

Additional information
This is a full-time permanent position, based at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. The position will report to the System Director Automatic Milking Systems. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely. The job requires some domestic and international travel.
