Role Summary
TRATON Group is strengthening its global leadership in commercial vehicle innovation, and we are now seeking two exceptional Product Managers to join our international team within group product management. In this pivotal role, you will shape the future of the Group's product portfolio, either focusing on Cab & Chassis or E-mobility, Components & Batteries.
You will drive cross-brand product strategies, align market needs with industrial capabilities and enable TRATON's mission to become the Global Champion in sustainable transportation. Operating in a fast-paced, multinational environment, you will collaborate with engineering teams, brand organizations and executive stakeholders to define and deliver industry-leading solutions.
This position is based at the TRATON headquarters in Södertälje, Sweden and offers the opportunity to influence product decisions across all TRATON brands worldwide.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and steer the Group Product Portfolio for either battery-electric vehicle installations or cab & chassis and related systems.
- Assess, structure and prioritize product requirements based on market insights, customer needs, technology maturity and business impact.
- Lead end-to-end development of cross-brand product roadmaps, from need identification through Start of Project (SP).
- Identify synergies across brands and ensure full alignment with commercial product planning and Industrial Operations.
- Manage budget and bucket processes for the Group's product domain.
- Apply modularization principles and user-factor methodology to secure scalable, harmonized product definitions and performance steps.
- Maintain close daily collaboration with engineering teams, brand organizations and all relevant product stakeholders across the Group.
- Drive structured decision-making processes and prepare high-quality executive-level documentation, analysis, and presentations.
- Product Manager - Cab & Chassis: Oversee the product roadmap, requirements, and cross-functional alignment for cab and chassis-related solutions.
- Product Manager - E-mobility: Lead the strategy and roadmap for battery installations and related architecture within the electrified portfolio.
Who You Are
- You hold a Master's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- You bring 3-7 years of experience in product management, product planning, project management or a comparable discipline, preferably within the automotive or mobility sector.
- You possess a strong understanding of vehicle-level architecture; experience with e-mobility systems, batteries, or electric powertrains is a significant advantage.
- You have demonstrated leadership capability and proven success in cross-functional initiatives or project lead roles.
- You combine analytical excellence with outstanding communication skills and a strong customer-first mindset.
- You are confident preparing and delivering polished materials for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- You thrive in a dynamic international environment and bring adaptability, curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- You are skilled in stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization and build trust through clarity, structure and collaboration.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
