Assignment Description

We are looking for a Principal Data Architect

What You Will Work On

Translate business requirements into technical data architecture solutions

Own and lead data architecture for large BI & Analytics implementations

Design cloud-based data platforms using Azure Data Services and Databricks

Advanced data modeling: relational, dimensional, NoSQL, and Graph models

Design APIs, event-driven architectures, and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka)

Enable AI/ML model integration into enterprise data workflows

Ensure data governance, GDPR compliance, and cloud security best practices

Implement CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and infrastructure automation

Produce architecture diagrams, wireframes, and technical documentation

Support governance and architecture review processes

What You Bring

Proven experience as a Data Architect in large-scale enterprise solutions

Deep expertise in Azure Data Services and Databricks ecosystems

Strong background in data engineering and architectural validation

Advanced skills in:

SQL

Python

PySpark

Experience with API design and event-driven systems

Knowledge of AI/ML integration in data platforms

Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure automation

Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, and security frameworks

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to document and visualize complex architectures clearly

Comfortable working onsite in Gothenburg
