We are now looking for a Payroll Manager with a strong focus on data, digital workflows and projects, who wants to be a key player in the development of Scania's payroll processes
In this position, you bring together your leadership skills and payroll knowledge, using data, integrations, and digital advancements as key tools to build stable, scalable, and future-ready solutions.

You will be an important part of Payroll within People Services Sweden and work at the intersection of operations, technology and delivery.
The Role
As a manager for one of our payroll groups, you have both an operational and strategic role with focus on improvement. You work closely with your team and other management colleagues. You act as the link between the payroll process and ITs ecosystem - for example time and travel expense solutions.
You have clear responsibility for ensuring data quality, stable integration and efficient workflows, as well as driving improvements based on analysis, insights and business needs.

Your Responsibilities
As a Payroll Manager, you lead a team of around 10 employees within Payroll.
You are responsible for activities in the payroll specialist team and ensure that we live up to quality and develop our process and employees.
You drive development across payroll, time and expense management in both short- and long-term perspective, to meet business needs. You are doing this together with both internal and external resources to be able to execute strategic activities.
Your Profile
We are looking for an experienced leader who thrives in a role where you combine leadership and project work that contributes to strategic business opportunities and improvement.
You have:
- 3+ years of experience of managerial positions
- the ability to inspire, guide and empower individuals and teams toward achieving shared goals, while fostering a culture of trust
- can build strong relationships, align interests and ensure clear communication across functions
- a holistic overview of the process flows from pre-systems to payroll, time- / travel management and post-payroll activities.
- have deep understanding of how systems are connected and how the process flows through them when it comes to time- and payroll processes.
- have good knowledge about the Swedish payroll legislation, collective agreement
- experience of leading and contributing to projects related to digitalization, automation and improvements
- excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
- ability to shift perspectives and drive long-term initiatives that align with and the organizations strategic direction.
- understanding of the business context and priorities, and makes informed decisions that support operational efficiency and long-term value creation.
- strong analytics skill
You are a team player with strong service orientation and genuine commitment to your work.
