Mechanical Technician - Stavanger, NORWAY

We are looking for Mechanical Technicians to support our operations team with local and international field work. The role includes mechanical work, equipment installation, basic troubleshooting, and warehouse support. Training will be provided where needed.

The position may involve travel (onshore and offshore) to assist with installation and maintenance of rental tools in oil field environments.

Main Tasks

Install, commission, and maintain mechanical rental tools (locally and internationally)

Support field operations and assist customers when required

Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs

Follow technical drawings, manuals, and work instructions

Carry out quality checks on tools and components

Support warehouse activities such as picking, packing, loading, and receiving goods

Help manage rental tool inventory and update records (Excel / ERP systems)

Use internal systems (CRM / ERP) to access drawings and equipment information

Follow all safety rules and report any hazards or incidents

Preferred Background (but not mandatory)

Mechanical experience or technical background

Fagbrev is preferred, but not required

Students or junior candidates with the right attitude are welcome

Willingness to learn, work hands-on, and support operations

Able to work in a team and follow procedures

Flexible and open to travel if needed

Languages: Swedish / Norwegian / English
