Background

Downstream Hardware and Consumables business unit are responsible for biomanufacturing chromatography and filtration equipment, software, and consumables, as well as laboratory chromatography equipment. We offer a broad and scalable solution portfolio developed over 30 years and among our products you will find strong brands such as ÄKTA, UNICORN and Allegro.

Objective

The aim of this project is to investigate and identify business opportunities and needs for downstream hardware equipment and consumables in the field of AI.

Who you are

• Master's student in Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biotechnology, Technical Physics or similar.
• Eligible for master thesis project work between January 2026 - 30 June 2026
• Any experience or prior knowledge about life science, biotechnology, chromatography, or filtration, will be considered an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• You are curious, open-minded and enjoy taking initiative on new ideas.
