Who we are

At Columbia Road we strive to NOT be your typical digital agency. We strive to help our clients sell better in the digital age. To achieve this, we need to work as one in a collaborative and supportive cross-competence environment. Business results rarely come from a fantastic slide deck... so we'd rather build, implement, and run the software or tools that do.

We are a tight-knit team in Stockholm with 20 colleagues who create business impact for our clients hands-on, from analyzing the most impactful ways of achieving the objectives to configuring and coding high-converting customer experiences. We are a community of more than 150 consultants across the Nordics who are eager to support whenever there is a challenge you don't know how to solve (and there will be many).

We run our business as a community - with high autonomy, big responsibility, and trust - from day one.

The job & what you'd be working on (who you are)

We are looking for an experienced MarTech (Marketing Technology) Consultant who is excited to deliver measurable impact for our clients. You are someone who has spent more than four years gaining deep, hands-on experience within the Marketing Automation, CRM and/or CDP space.
You have come to the point where you want to do more than just implement another journey. You want to see real business value from your day-to-day work and you are not ready to settle for just another journey built.

In this role, you will:
  • Build trust through relationships and evidence of your knowledge and results with our clients
  • Help customers navigate the complex martech landscape and choose the most suitable solutions for their business and technical needs.
  • Help implement new platforms (MA, CRM, CDP), audit existing setups, and support running successful martech operations.

You'll work in cross-functional teams consisting of client stakeholders, your Roadie colleagues, and potential third-party experts. In some instances, you may also work independently with a client, but never without the support of our community.

Working right at the heart of solving business challenges will offer you extensive learning opportunities that will broaden your understanding of customer needs and business problems in various industries. You will have access to our proven methods and tools for successful client projects while having the autonomy to choose the approach for the task at hand.

Requirements

Skills & experience:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Automation, CRM, and/or CDP
  • You are a power user who can build complex, event-triggered journeys and sophisticated lead-scoring models.
  • Some experience with the leading platforms is beneficial (Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce, HubSpot etc.)
  • You are comfortable engaging in discussions about consent management and GDPR
  • We believe that you are a team player and want to contribute to the overall growth of the Stockholm community in all aspects (business, consulting, and community)
  • While you don't need to be an architect, you have a deep understanding of the martech data ecosystems and how various tools "talk" to each other. You excel at translating marketing goals into technical requirements, bridging the gap between Marketing, Sales, and IT.
  • You have the interpersonal skills to guide clients to make the best technological choices in line with their business needs.
  • A proven track record of managing projects with technical complexity
  • Previous consulting experience is highly valued, but not required.
  • Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, and AI software is valued, but not required.
  • Language: Working proficiency in English and Swedish is a must.

The Mindset:
  • You love high-level strategy but are genuinely excited to jump into the tools yourself. You aren't looking for a "purely managerial" role.
  • You have a "can-do" attitude and a constant hunger to learn about emerging marketing technologies.
  • You believe in learning by doing and supporting your fellow Roadies.

Recruitment process

Our recruitment process typically involves 2-3 interviews where we learn about your skills and what motivates you. You'll discover more about Columbia Road and meet various Roadies along the way. After our discussions, we'll reach out to your chosen references. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
