We're seeking a dynamic Manager to lead our Simulation Test Unit, a critical team ensuring that our autonomous solutions meet the highest safety and reliability standards.

The Unit provides competence and know-how in simulation tests for Autonomous and ADAS functionality. This includes, based on our V&V strategies, identifying the simulation tools needed, performing test analysis, and test cases to be executed in those test environments.

As Unit manager, you will also be part of our global management team with other Units in Södertälje (Sweden), Munich (Germany), Lisle & San Antonio (USA).

Your tasks

• Assist in scouting the market of strategic tools and strategic partners to fulfil the Unit's mission.
• Take the lead in moving the group forward and enabling its capacity to reach our objectives
• As a member of the management group, help optimizing the flow landscape for the teams with SAFe as the guiding star, contribute to our strategic decisions and work with our continuous improvements of processes.
• Collaborate with internal customers and fellow units within Traton
• Lead through our Traton leadership principles, embrace diversity and build strong and motivated teams

Your profile

We are looking for a manager who has:
• a background within function test and/or development with SW in focus
• manager experience, from an agile context, with a mindset to build strong teams through trust, clarity and genuine support
• the ability to show empathy in your daily leadership, bring a positive mindset and help the team to stay focused when things around them change
• a genuine interest in how techniques, processes and methods are integrated to create optimized workflows
• a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent
• knowledge of English and Swedish, both in written and spoken form
