This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
We are now looking for a Product Owner to lead the Offline and Power Solutions product area within the Workshop Suite. As Product Owner, you will be responsible for shaping the product vision and driving development of functionality that connects to this domain.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Offline and Power Solutions within the Workshop Suite.
- Define functionality that enables maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and software updates for standalone control units.
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, architects, and UX to support efficient and reliable deliveries.
- Align with stakeholders for requirements.
- Translate operational constraints (limited connectivity, security requirements, harsh environments) into actionable product requirements.
- Ensure compliance with security, safety, and regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Follow up on product usage, quality, and operational impact to guide continuous improvement.
Who You Are
You are a product-oriented leader who thrives in technically complex domains and enjoys taking ownership of both direction and outcomes. You have experience working in agile teams, where you own and prioritize backlogs, set clear product direction, and ensure that development efforts are aligned with user and business needs.
You are comfortable balancing user experience, security, and technical constraints, and you approach trade-offs in a pragmatic and well-reasoned way. As a strong communicator, you are able to align stakeholders across organizational and domain boundaries, creating shared understanding and commitment.
You work in a structured and pragmatic manner, with a clear focus on delivering real operational value and building solutions that make a tangible difference in everyday work.
Meriting Experiences
- Experience with embedded systems, control units, or engine management systems.
- Knowledge of workshop tools, diagnostic systems, or service tooling in automotive, marine, or industrial domains.
- Experience designing or delivering offline-capable systems or solutions.
- Background in software update mechanisms, data synchronization, or distributed systems.
- Experience working with Scania's Workshop Suite, power solutions, or similar OEM platforms.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds - your unique experience and perspectives is valuable to us.
