Junior Category Manager - Norwegian Market

We are now looking for an ambitious and drivenJunior Category Managerwho wants to work with one of the strongest and broadest home improvement assortments in the Nordic market.

About the role

As aJunior Category Managerat Bygghemma, you will share responsibility for sales and profitability within selected product categories. Together with one of our experienced Category Managers, you will help develop key categories for theNorwegian market, working to strengthen our assortment and ensure Bygghemma remains competitive and relevant.

You will continuously evaluate the assortment based on performance metrics such as profitability and sales velocity, and actively work to improve sales through pricing, campaigns, and assortment development.

The position is based at Bygghemma'scentral Malmö office, where parts of our Norwegian team are also located.

If you are a student in your final term, there is an opportunity to start the role part-time alongside your studies, with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities
  • Update pricing following supplier negotiations
  • Plan and execute campaigns and other sales-driving activities
  • Analyze and optimize product and freight pricing
  • Onboard new suppliers and manage assortment files
  • Monitor competitors and market developments
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new suppliers

Who you are

You are early in your career and have a strong commercial mindset. You are motivated by sales results, enjoy analysis, and want to grow within a successful and fast-moving organization.

Since the role involves a high level of supplier interaction, we prefer that you speak either Norwegian or Swedish.

We believe you have:
  • A strong interest in commerce, sales, and category management
  • Good analytical skills and a structured way of working
  • The ability to understand complex business relationships and see the bigger picture
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
