IT TechnicianOticon Medical BAHS specializes in developing, producing, and distributing advanced bone-anchored hearing systems, including long-term implants, sound processors, software, and surgical tools.
We are a global leader in hearing solutions, located in Sisjön Gothenburg, and we are currently looking for an IT Support Technician (Level 1 & 2) to ensure the technical maintenance of all IT equipment within the company and guarantee the proper functioning and reliability of each device.
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play a key role in delivering first- and second-level support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- The assembly, installation, commissioning, and monitoring of new IT equipment and systems.
- On-site or remote intervention on employees' equipment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Hardware maintenance, including performing regular updates on employees' workstations.
- Ensuring the security of the company's networks and data.
- Implementing IT solutions to provide employees with the necessary resources to perform their tasks, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Training staff members following the installation of new equipment and raising awareness about best practices for maintaining IT hardware.
- Identifying equipment obsolescence and providing reports to management to support partial or full renewal of the IT infrastructure.
- Monitoring and managing IT inventory and stock levels.
Your profile:
- A degree in IT, computer science, or a related field (Bac+2 or higher) is appreciated, but equivalent experience or a strong interest in IT environments will also be considered.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Strong technical knowledge of IT environments, operating systems, networks, and infrastructure solutions
