Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Junior IT Hardware Support Technician to assist with hardware lifecycle management and end-user support services. This role is primarily focused on handling IT equipment used by employees and students, ensuring devices are properly prepared, maintained, and recycled in accordance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware, including inspection, refurbishment, and preparation of devices for reuse

Conduct functional testing and ensure devices are cleaned and ready for reassignment

Coordinate disposal and return of outdated or non-functional equipment for recycling or supplier reuse

Provide user support through telephone and case management systems

Deliver hands-on technical assistance at the on-site support desk

Offer on-site support across various departments within the client's operations

Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions within the ticketing system

Handle time-sensitive technical issues with efficiency and professionalism

Work Conditions:

Full-time: 40 hours per week (100%)

On-site work at the client's premises in Täby

Occasional evening shifts may be required

Mandatory Requirements:

Valid driving license

Proven experience aligned with junior-level IT support (must be clearly documented in CV)

Ability to present a criminal record extract as per legal requirements during the interview process

Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts

Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service

Ability to manage and respond effectively in time-critical situations

Positive, professional attitude when interacting with users

Education:

Relevant educational background in IT or equivalent practical experience is preferred
