We're looking for a Head of Performance Management to join us at Telia.

I'mAnders Selin, Head of Operations Management at Telia B2B Sweden, and I'm searching for someone ready to grow with us. We're a supportive, forward-thinking organization focused on driving performance management and sales development.

In this unit, we design & drive the change agenda - from idea to effect. We define & implement new steering models, working methods and business rules for all customer units, from high velocity sales to advanced bid and risk management in complex solution sales. We develop & reinforce the organization's skills in both processes and sales methods through training and coaching of our employees and leaders across the B2B organization.

The Head of Performance Management is responsible for developing & improving the operational sales management for all of B2B. The role is responsible for ensuring that all sales units (Major Account, Channel Sales and other B2B segments) work in a common, transparent and unified framework for monitoring, reporting and performance sales management. The role also includes responsibility for supporting the sales management teams with operational sales reporting & analytics, both recurring & predefined as well as proactive & and more exploratory analytics.

What you'll do:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the performance management team and the team's deliveries, priorities, and skills development. You'll also ensure high quality in structures, processes and methodology for sales management, as well as creating a culture of data drive, transparency and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for leading the performance team and its development
  • Develop one common framework for sales steering, establish and manage a unified methodology for pipeline management, forecast processes and KPI monitoring
  • Ensure that all channels work according to the same definitions, logic and control principles
  • Drive standardization where possible and adaptation where necessary
  • Develop and optimize the structures for how pipeline meetings, forecast reviews and performance reviews are to be conducted. ensure that sales managers and channel managers have the right tools, templates and processes to conduct daily follow-up
  • Support sales managers and channel managers with coaching and methodology without taking over their operational responsibilities
  • Drive data quality and reporting discipline through clear processes and follow-up frameworks


What will help you thrive in this role:

To be successful in this role, we believe you have 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Performance Management, Business Control or similar analytical and operational roles. You also have experience in leading teams or driving operational processes in complex organizations.

Key experience:
  • Proven experience in Sales Operations and Performance Management in large, complex organizations
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline management, forecast processes and KPI monitoring
    Ability to manage complex stakeholders and work closely with sales managers and experience in advanced sales follow-up
  • Meritorious: experience in transformation work or establishment of new control models.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
