About the role
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Growth marketeer to join Danske Bank’s small business growth team, specialising in acquiring businesses within the SME segment. This role is pivotal in designing and executing marketing strategies that persuade businesses with existing banking relationships to switch to Danske Bank, leveraging tailored campaigns and multi-touchpoint approaches to address the unique needs of this customer segment.
As a Growth marketeer , you will focus on creating targeted activities that highlight Danske Bank’s value proposition, driving engagement with businesses that require more in-depth consultation during the onboarding journey. This includes collaborating closely with product owners (credit, cash management, fx, trade finance etc) and channel owners (eBank. Mobile bank etc) to ensure an effective E2E acquisition process.
Key responsibilities
- Customer acquisition strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at acquiring businesses that already have a banking relationship
- Multi-touchpoint campaigns: Design and execute personalised, longer-term campaigns with multiple touchpoints to engage and nurture potential customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Value-driven messaging: Craft compelling messaging that emphasises Danske Bank’s unique offerings, including credit solutions and advisory services, to meet the needs of mature and complex businesses.
- Collaboration with advisers: Work closely with advisers to integrate credit discussions and approvals into the acquisition process, ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding journey.
- Channel strategy and optimisation: Identify and optimise the best channels for reaching established businesses, including digital marketing, events, partnerships, and direct outreach.
- Data-driven insights: Analyse campaign performance and customer data to refine strategies, improve outcomes, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Customer journey mapping: Map and optimise the customer journey for switching banks, addressing pain points and ensuring a seamless transition for new customers.
- Thought leadership and advocacy: Develop content and initiatives that position Danske Bank as a trusted partner for established businesses, building credibility and trust.
We are looking for a colleague with a creative mindset and the flexibility to quickly adjust acquisition activities. We expect you to be driven in stakeholder management and lead projects from start to finish.
We expect that you have:
- Experience in BtB or SaaS environments with a focus on customer acquisition and longer sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies for complex customer segments, including multi-touchpoint campaigns and relationship building.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure campaign success, and optimise strategies accordingly.
- Experience collaborating with sales teams and advisers to align marketing efforts with customer needs, including credit solutions and consultations.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-first approach and a passion for driving growth.
