FX is a core part of Markets at Danske Bank. We support our clients with advisory and execution within FX, with a strong focus on risk management and value creation. Our work contributes directly to Markets’ overall performance, both in terms of profitability and client satisfaction.
The FX organization covers the full value chain – from front office and sales to trading, technology and services. Across all teams, we pursue shared goals and a strong commitment to delivering a competitive and reliable FX offering to our customers.
FX Sales in Sweden consists of around 14 professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, working closely together across locations. In Malmö, we work near our clients in southern Sweden, while being an integrated part of the broader Nordic and international FX organization of approximately 65 specialists. We promote an inclusive, supportive culture where knowledge-sharing, innovation and continuous learning are encouraged.
About the role
As FX Sales, you will be deeply involved in the daily dialogue with a broad range of corporate clients, primarily in Southern Sweden. You will contribute to executing the FX strategy aligned with Danske Bank’s Forward’28 strategy and seek out new business opportunities, often in close cooperation with our Analytics team and product specialists.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal partners and external clients.
- Act with a high level of integrity and professionalism, ensuring compliance with regulations, internal policies and ethical standards.
- Contribute actively to our ongoing digitalization and work closely with development and product teams.
You are a confident communicator who enjoys client interaction and takes a proactive approach to identifying solutions. You are curious, commercially minded and driven to improve both client value and business results. In the FX Sales team, we value engagement, collaboration and a performance-oriented mindset.
We also expect that you have:
- Experience from, and solid understanding of, the FX market.
- An academic degree in economics, finance or engineering.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
