About the Assignment

You will join a team building and running a scalable CI environment that helps development teams and suppliers deliver software faster without compromising quality. The platform is a central part of a large software development ecosystem in the automotive industry and is used by more than 1000 developers.

The environment is based on Zuul and hosted in AWS, with standard jobs written in Python and Ansible for analysis, testing, and build automation. You will work close to both cloud infrastructure and developer workflows, where reliability, automation, and problem-solving are key. This is a great opportunity if you want to influence a CI platform with broad impact in a technically advanced embedded software context.

Job DescriptionYou will design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports a scalable CI platform.

You will monitor system health and analyze performance metrics across the platform.

You will troubleshoot issues at different levels, from cloud infrastructure and CI services to build and compilation problems.

You will implement solutions that bring new platforms and tools into the CI chain.

You will contribute to automation and standard jobs written in Python and Ansible.

You will help strengthen development workflows so teams can analyze, test, and build code efficiently.

RequirementsMaster of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Experience working with cloud infrastructure

Expertise working with C/C++ and Python

Experience working with continuous integration tools

Understanding of software development workflow and processes

You communicate clearly, collaborate well with others, and bring a structured, analytical way of working

Ability to complete a background check covering education, employment history, identity, and citizenship verification

Nice to haveExperience with Zuul

Experience working in a DevOps environment

Experience in software development for embedded systems

Experience with Git/Gerrit

Experience with Ansible, Docker, and Linux

Experience with Matlab

Understanding of model-based systems, Simulink, and TargetLink

Experience with issue tracking tools and Agile ways of working
