Role Summary
We are looking for an engaged and skilledHardware Design Engineerwho wants to work with mechanical design, electrical components and testing. You will work with both low- and high-voltage systems as well as cable management and sheet metal development.
You will be part of a collaborative team alongside hardware designers, software engineers, and power electronics specialists.
Familiarity with Scania's product development process is considered a merit.
We are seeking someone with experience in testing and mechanical design who enjoys working in an start up environment.

- Design and develop sheet metal components with integrated electronic systems
- Plan and execute tests according to project timelines
- Develop prototypes and support testing and validation activities
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and external partners to ensure technical quality
- Collaborate with software and power electronics engineers to deliver integrated system solutions
Who You Are
You have several years of experience in product development and a broad technical perspective gained from working across different R&D domains. You areproactive, solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where innovation and collaboration are key.
We believe you:
- Hold a relevant university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
- Have a structured and proactive approach to planning and execution
- Bring hands-on experience with testing, prototyping, and validation
- Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Enjoy contributing to strategic discussions and long-term product development
- Have experience working cross-functionally with purchasing, production, and sales & marketing
- Have worked in early-stage or entrepreneurial settings, preferably within charging infrastructure
