Verisure is seeking an experienced and passionate Communications Director to join our Cluster Leadership team in this critical, high - impact role with clear exposure internally and externally .This role sits at the heart of one of Europe's fastest - growing public companies - shaping how a #1 Nordic brand shows up to millions of customers, regulators, partners, and in the media. We are looking for a strong, hands - on leader who can shape and execute a compelling narrative for the company . This is a newly created, strategic role reflecting the growing importance of Communications in reinforcing our impact and presence in the Nordics and globally. The Communications Director will lead both external and internal communications, with a strong emphasis on External Communications, PR, storytelling, strategic positioning, and network building .

Responsibilities of the Communications Director Nordics
This newly created, high impact role leads the Communications function across the Nordics, reflecting its growing importance in our strategic agenda and as a public company. You will shape and elevate the function - building on strong foundations while driving new initiatives that support our next phase of growth.
Joining at a pivotal moment of growth and transformation, you will own the end-to-end Nordics communications strategy - strengthening and buiding external reputation, driving internal alignment, and delivering market specific impact. You will lead building the strategy and delivering execution across all countries . You will build capabilities that elevate our brand, and tailor communications plans in close partnership with country leadership and cross functional teams. As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic counsel and hands-on execution across reputation management, media relationship building , storytelling, and employee engagement ensuring a coherent and influential narrative. You will also collaborate closely with Group Communications, contributing to international strategies and high visibility projects.
The role will report either to the General Manager Nordics & Sweden or, initially, to the Nordics HR & Communications Director. The reporting line is intentionally flexible to ensure the right level of support from day one and set you up for success. You will directly lead and grow the Nordic communications team, supported by a rich network of transversal resources, expertise , and best practice sharing to maximise collective impact.
It is a role with real impact, visibility, and the ability to shape the next chapter of Verisure's story. Core responsibilities

- Lead the development and execution of our external strategic narrative and engagement plan, from concept to delivery.
- Strengthen Verisure's reputation as a trusted, innovative leader in home security.
- Design and implement impactful PR strategies, media relations programs, and storytelling campaigns that elevate our brand.
- Enhance Verisure's positioning as a high performing public company across the Nordic markets.
- Oversee media relations, driving proactive storytelling and managing responsive issue handling through strong journalist relationships.
- Lead and coordinate reputational issue management and crisis communications with local markets and Group teams.
- Serve as a company spokesperson, representing Verisure in the media and shaping public discourse on home and small business security.

- Position our digital leadership more effectively by partnering with local teams to strengthen, monitor , and enhance our ereputation .
- Develop strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including journalists, influencers, and industry networks.
- Oversee the company's digital presence, ensuring high-quality , consistent content across the corporate website and social media channels.
- Write, review, and edit multi format content tailored to different audiences - including website copy, video scripts, external statements, presentations, messaging frameworks, talking points, Q&As, and press releases.
- Partner closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and reinforce an aligned reputation narrative across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.

- Proven track record of leading corporate and external communications at scale within global, fast - paced B2C environments (retail, telco, FMCG, subscription - based services), generally gained over ~20 years, with substantial experience working across international / multicultural, and remote team structures.
- Strategic communications leader with the ability to design and execute external strategies that elevate both commercial performance and broader industry positioning - shaping the company's role not only as a market leader, but also as a credible regional and sector voice.
- Strong media relations and spokesperson capability, experienced in shaping narratives, securing high - impact coverage, and maintaining trusted relationships with key Nordic journalists. Confident in handling interviews, press inquiries, statements, and high - visibility moments with credibility and sound judgment.
- Exceptional communicator and storyteller, producing high - quality content across formats - including press releases, op - eds, speeches, statements, and social media - to strengthen public perception and reinforce strategic priorities.

- Native Swedish speaker with fluency in English (written and spoken) ; additional Nordic languages are a strong asset.
