Role Description

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a high-performing product team responsible for developing and operating cloud services for connected vehicles. You will work within a globally distributed car cloud platform, ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure that powers connected car experiences for millions of users. This is a hands-on role combining application development with cloud infrastructure ownership in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud services and ingress gateway solutions within a globally scaled platform

Take ownership of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and release management

Collaborate with your Product Owner to define functionality, estimate complexity, and plan sprints

Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions within established guidelines

Act as a task force resource for business-critical application and infrastructure development

Share knowledge within the team and actively contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development

Proficiency in Java (Spring) and/or Golang

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices

Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, Cassandra)

Understanding of microservice architecture

Experience working in agile product teams (Scrum/DevOps)

Fluent in English, written and spoken

BSc degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent

Meriting

Experience with Istio service mesh

Knowledge of middleware technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or MQTT

Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus

Prior experience with connected vehicle platforms or car-related cloud data flows

Python scripting for automation purposes
