Location: Malmö. Sweden

Contract type: Permanent

Business Line: Providing the most extensive product and service portfolios, where the airfield, apron, tower and terminal are the foundation for fully integrated solutions to support airport development and optimize operational procedures.

Reporting to the Regional Manager in Scandics, the Service Engineer will with a strong technical knowledge and proper attitude, perform interventions in the challenging world of airport. You will make an impact by

As our Service Engineer, you’ll deliver technical expertise to airports in the Scandics. Under the scope of Service Level Agreements, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of our wide range of products. As our key player in airport construction project, you perform test and commissioning activities on small and large installations.

Troubleshooting

• Log analyzing and root cause analysis
• Testing our advanced airport solutions and systems
• Handle support related matters, both hardware and software, towards our customers
• Train our clients on how to use the systems and
• You will be expected to travel in this role
• Guarantee continuous improvement by working closely with various internal departments to whom you report your experience from the field, both technical and commercial point of view

Good to have:

• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Experience with TCP/IP networking
• Linux and Windows system (administration level)

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (EE) or Associate in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), equivalent degree, or equivalent through experience, or higher vocational education
• Good affinity with electrical systems (low voltage), commissioning tools and troubleshooting procedures.
• Proven knowledge of International safety rules and regulations.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a must.
• Good knowledge on MS Office packages.

This would be a plus but not a must!

• Knowledge of aviation rules and regulations such as ICAO, FAA or STANAG.
• Knowledge of automation packages such as Win CC or similar.
• Experience in networking or cyber security
