Your Role: Senior Learning Developer and Facilitator

As a Senior Learning Developer and Facilitator at Hyper Island, you will play a crucial role in advancing our educational philosophy. You are not just a facilitator, but an innovator in learning design, an expert in digital complexities, and a visionary in experiential education. This role demands a unique blend of expertise in experiential learning design, business acumen, and a deep understanding of digital complexities to nurture forward-thinking leaders.

You will be co-responsible for learning development and facilitation in up to 8 programs we’re currently running from Stockholm:

• Digital Creative
• Content Developer
• Design Lead
• Motion Creative
• Data Analyst
• Frontend Developer
• XR Creative Developer
• AI Business Consultant

With potential additional learning development and facilitation in our upskill courses and programs based in Karlshamn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learning Experience Design and Delivery: Lead the development and implementation of experiential and constructionist learning models.
• Design and facilitate dynamic learning environments using a 'flipped classroom' approach, ensuring real-world application and meaningful engagement.
• Educational Journey Engagement: Promote active, self-directed learning both onsite and online, optimizing content for shared use across the organization.
• Business and Relationship Development: Work closely with the Industry Client Partner Collective to integrate industry insights into learning pathways.
• Support student recruitment by aligning educational offerings with market needs and trends.
• Strategize and co-create content packaging for reuse to enhance operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative culture within the learning development teams and across departmental lines within Hyper Island’s matrix organisational structure.
• Share and leverage best practices across all Hyper Island hubs.
• Oversight of the grading process to ensure alignment with educational, program objectives and student engagement.

Your expertise in digital tools and platforms enhances your ability to design and deliver top-tier educational content.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant advanced education in education, business, technology, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in experiential learning and digital education platforms.
• Proven track record in leading educational projects and facilitating group learning.
• Customer-focused with a deep understanding of student’s needs.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate educational activities into business growth.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English. Swedish proficiency is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a matrix organisational structure.
• Minimum of five years in a similar role, with demonstrated leadership in educational settings.
• Industry relevant expert knowledge and experience of the content of at least one Hyper Island vocational program within business, design, or tech is a plus.
