SCADA Ingenjörer till Akkodis Västerås!

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team as a consultant for a project at one of our esteemed clients in the clean energy/electrification industry. As a SCADA Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and optimization of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our client´s energy infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. • Design SCADA system architecture and develop specifications based on project needs. • Configure SCADA software and hardware components for monitoring and control of energy assets. • Develop and implement protocols for data acquisition, telemetry, and communication interfaces. • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of SCADA systems to ensure functionality and performance. • Provide technical support and training to end-users and operational staff. • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in SCADA and industrial automation. Requirements: • Bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience in SCADA system design, implementation, and support, preferably in the clean energy/electrification sector. • Proficiency in SCADA software platforms. • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC). • Experience with PLC programming and HMI development is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
