About the position

Perido are now proactively looking for Mechanical Engineers to our client. They’re a world-leading supplier of transport solutions that together with its customers and partners are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. You will be working at the office in Södertälje.

Your daily tasks

Typical tasks include:

• Design technical solutions according to given prerequisites (e.g., function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality target and regulations) in mechanical areas
• Support and Lead mechanical design engineering activities in a particular area. Play an active role in the delivery. Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality and readiness before release. Ensure the design fulfills the business targets/ requirements. Provide input in product and system roadmaps. Network and build relationship with universities and external institutes for own technical area
• Participate in the business development and innovation. Develop and Manage networking across the organization and provide inputs to the project pre-requisites based on the component history. On Specialist level the employee is a specialist in Mechanical Engineering typically obtained through education and work experience
• Leading on complex group tasks/projects and actively developing team members - Role model of cutting edge thinking and an established contributor to lifelong learning within the TD/BA as a master trainer, coach and/or mentor

Your characteristics

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who likes to work in a team and seek information independently while sharing their knowledge and experiences with others. We also think you are well-organized and detail-oriented. Furthermore, have strong communication skills and am service-minded, independent, and self-motivated.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in the automotive industry
• Experience from C++,Python JIRA, SCRUM, SAFe
• Fluent in english

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment with various lengths. Start according to agreement.
