Payroll Specialist / Lönespecialist

We are now looking for a payroll specialist to join our payroll team located in Gothenburg. You will be one of two payroll specialists and report to Compensation & Benefit manager. The position will include handling payroll for Sweden including pension, yearly bonuses, company cars, benefit packages, HR administrative and office management tasks. We are looking for a person who is service minded, comfortable in educating managers and employees in time and expenses reporting, handling support to our managers and employees regarding your field of competence.The person we are looking for enjoys developing work processes and is both familiar with, and enjoy, taking part in developing payroll systems and digital tools.

What you will be working with:

  • Verify timekeeping information for all employees (support and introduction).
  • Calculate/verify pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
  • Manage compensation packages.
  • Support the Compensation & Benefit manager in the yearly position evaluation and salary revision.
  • Calculate and prepare bonuses.
  • Handle employment contracts.
  • Handle company car accounting records and salary related issues.
  • Assists HR with system records and compile reports from the payroll and HR system.
  • Respond to local, and federal inquires (Skatteverket, SCB, Fora Collectum etc).

Who we are looking for

  • You have a formal payroll education and/or experience of working with the full payroll cycle, ranging from time reporting to booking of salaries.
  • Proven HR administrative competence.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • You communicate clearly in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
  • Knowledge of Swedish labor law, compliance procedures and tax regulations.
  • Experience working in Kontek HRM and Payroll is a plus.
  • You have a drive to develop and improve our processes and systems
