We are Looking For:

A visionary Industrial Designer and multidisciplinary thinker who is not only passionate about creating functional and aesthetically pleasing products but also proficient in supply chain management. We are keen to find a professional who combines robust knowledge in industrial design, packaging design, mechanical engineering with a proven track record in supply chain management. You will help in ensuring our designs transition smoothly from concept through to production and market delivery.

• You are a visionary designer with a passion for creating products that blend form, function and efficient production strategies seamlessly.

• With a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and ability to foresee problems, you have can modify and transform abstract ideas into tangible, market-ready products.

• You are proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and design innovation.

• Your excellent communication skills enable you to convey complex design concepts clearly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, production and delivery of new products and packaging from concept to market that align with AVOLT’s commitment to aesthetics and functionality.
• 
  
• Develop and present design proposals, including sketches, renderings, animations and prototypes, to internal teams and stakeholders.
• 
  
• Produce and maintain critical documents such as RFQs, RFPs, CMF specification, certification declarations, datasheets, project timelines, and purchasing agreements.
• 
  
• Stay updated with the latest design, CMF, and technological trends to continuously improve product design.
• 
  
• Engage with suppliers in China, Vietnam, India, and Europe and oversee the entire supply chain from development, sourcing and procurement, certification to production and delivery.

Qualifications and Requirments:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial and packaging design, with a proven track record of bringing products and packaging to market.
• 
  
• Proficiency in design tools such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender 3D, Keyshot and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong skills in Spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials with extensive knowledge and practical skills in supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement.
• 
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and have strong communication and presentation skills.
• 
  
• A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
• 
  
• Willingness to travel to the factory and other sites as needed.
• 
  
• High proficiency in English; proficiency in Swedish, Chinese, and Hindi is a significant plus.
