H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. As a Finance Solution Expert you will be responsible that our business function has the digital capabilities and solutions needed in order to reach our mission.

You will be responsible to develop the digital roadmap for the capabilities needed for our business unit to deliver on our mission. You will also be responsible to communicate that roadmap internally and be the main stakeholder towards the digital team in terms of prioritizations and execution on that roadmap.

You might also be project manager for specific capability improvement initiatives. In addition to your colleagues in finance you will partner with cross functional teams from HR, Procurement and Project Controls and daily collaborate with the digital team.

The Role

You will be the key resource and owner from the finance team of our financial solutions supporting our corporate and operational finance processes. You will focus on long-term roadmaps building on our vision of lean finance and at the same time be the daily support to the finance team enabling efficient and complete data for internal and external reporting. This role will play an important part in helping us effectively leverage our ERP systems, refine existing processes, and identify ways for the Finance team to automate processes. Since we are in a growth phase daily operational tasks supporting the accounting and controlling teamswill also be in your role.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within finance, in close collaboration with the digital team

• Provide daily support for the accounting and finance department, including master data administration and validation rules.

• Implement new features, test releases, and configure business processes.

• Maintain access rights and responsibilities, ensuring integrity through audits.

• Generate reports in ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools for the Financial Control team.

• Prepare ad-hoc queries and proactively maintain data integrity.

• Assist in establishing and executing timely data processing.

• Interface with the digital team to develop system solutions and enhancements.
• Participate in system projects and provide training for finance staff.

The Skill Set

• Minimum 5 years of ERP-Finance Systems experience, NetSuite experience is a plus.

• Strong ability to collaborate with business partners at all levels.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated expertise in analytical problem-solving and data modeling.

• Capacity to manage confidential information professionally and navigate through ambiguity.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Proactive attitude, with a focus on creating scalable processes and solving operational challenges.
