Bid Manager Process Automation and Digital systems A Snapshot of Your Day As a Bid Manager specializing in process automation and digital systems, your contribution is essential to the triumph of our projects. You will be entrusted with overseeing the entirety of activities associated with crafting automation bid proposals. Your role demands flawless communication with clients, achieved through close collaboration with the designated Sales Manager. Additionally, you will be responsible for the creation of detailed technical specifications tailored to our sophisticated process automation solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of precision and quality. How You’ll Make an Impact * Responsible for all activities related to automation bid proposals for designated projects, maintaining clear communication with clients in collaboration with the Sales Manager * Develop detailed technical specifications for process automation bids, including calculations and technical risk assessments with a focus on the best customer solution. * Present the developed automation solutions to clients alongside the designated Account Manager, addressing customer feedback related to the proposed solution. * Contribute to the development of negotiation strategy and participate in contract negotiations, tailoring our solution to be the most competitive one in terms of quality, functionality, and price. * Facilitate knowledge transfer from the sales phase to the project execution team and ensure continuous learning and improvement through feedback from the project team. * Stay updated on the newest technology trends through internal and external sources. If you have a strong background in process automation and a proven track record of delivering successful automation projects, we would love to hear from you. What You Bring * Relevant degree in electrical engineering, automation, digitalization, or equivalent background with a focus on process automation systems * Experience in automation projects, project management, automation engineering, system design, technical sales, or project deliveries, particularly within the pulp & paper or chemical industry. Competences in * Simatic PCS7 * Profibus/ProfiNet * Virtualized systems (VMware) * Results-driven approach with a strong understanding of customer business operations, especially within process automation * Proactive approach and excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and with clients. * Structured, analytical, and pragmatic approach with a “Pareto” demeanor. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills in Swedish and English to convey sophisticated automation concepts clearly. * Knowledge of the Finnish language is an asset.
