Your Role
As a participant in our Global Rotation Program within Alleima group, including our Kanthal Business, you work with different predefined Key initiatives for example in areas of operational and commercial excellence, continuous improvements, quality, value stream mapping, market analytics and automation projects to mention some of them.
These initiatives will be carried out in countries like US, Germany, India, Czech Republic, UK, and Sweden, making a significant impact on our business and our customers.
With a master’s degree in engineering in relevant areas such as mechanical, material science or industrial engineering, or a master’s degree in finance or business control, you will be integrated into our Business Units and Operation Sites to develop and contribute to our activities.
You will take significant ownership for the projects you participate in and drive improvement initiatives and performance management. You will work on four-month rotations in three different Business Units around the globe, engaging in interesting and relevant projects.
All accommodations during the rotations abroad will be arranged by the company.
The program is scheduled to start during March 2025 and will continue through March 2026.
It is designed to lead to a permanent position within one of our Business Units somewhere in the world.
We will offer you
We offer full time, permanent employment in the program from day one as a Project manager within the program. During the first assignment, participants will meet in Sandviken Sweden for a week of introduction and training, focused on getting to know our business and on your development. Upon hire, you will be assigned a company mentor who will provide you with guidance and advice to build your career plan.
At the end of the program, you will perform an evaluation with your mentor and the Global Program Leads. All training both in hard and soft skills during the program are meant to build the foundation of your future career evolution.
Your profile
We are seeking candidates with one of the following qualifications:
- A master’s degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, material science or industrial engineering)
- A master’s degree in finance or business control
Experience in collaboration on different projects is essential for both areas.
Is your background within engineering we expect you to understand manufacturing and business processes, have analytical skills of machine, process and product data and be able to transform that knowledge into actions. Experience with LEAN manufacturing concepts and continuous improvements is also required.
If your background is in finance or business control, you should have a strong ability to analyze financial data, prepare forecasts and deliver meaningful reports to drive business decisions.
You have a good experience and understanding of financial mechanisms in a manufacturing environment, as well as a solid understanding of market trends and connect financial data to broader business strategies.

You are intellectually curious, open to challenges and comfortable in highly changing environments. To be successful in the role, you demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and multicultural maturity. You are enthusiastic about our industry, mobile and open to living and working in various parts of the world. As this position has an international exposure, you need to have effective communication skills in English, both verbally and written, making it easy for you to build relationships and cooperate with people from all over the world.
As an individual you excel at engaging with people at all levels and are open to challenges and comfortable in highly changing environments. We work intensively with the various apps in the Office platform, and we expect you to be a frequent user who keeps up to date with the latest features to work smarter, not harder. You are also skilled at simplifying complex concepts. We highly value your broad experience, strong integrity, and ability to get things done.
