Responsibilities

As aTechnical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of Kalmar’s future machines. In this role, you will lead and drive technical projects within R&D, focusing on meeting customer requirements, safety standards, and legal regulations. You will work closely with colleagues across R&D and be responsible for ensuring technical deliveries are completed on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating design and development activities within assigned projects
  • Analyzing technical requirements and resources to plan and assess feasibility
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders on technical specifications and processes
  • Initiating and following up on tests for design verification and validation
  • Ensuring technical coordination across different product areas within the CB division

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
    • University degree (BSc/MSc) in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
    • Experience in product development, preferably within vehicles, machinery, or a similar industry
    • Experience in technical project work or project management
    • Meritorious: experience with embedded systems, hydraulics, mechanics, or software
    • Meritorious: prior experience within R&D and development of machinery, vehicles, or similar products

    Start: As agreed (preferably as soon as possible)Location: Ljungby, with the possibility of hybrid work (approx. 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)Salary: As agreed
