About the role

We are looking for an experienced engineer and Team Leader to join our Payroll Team. We're looking for someone who is not afraid of making decisions, challenging the status quo and implementing new ways of working to boost efficiency and customer outcomes. You will play a key role in driving the delivery of the product and participate regularly in discovery activities together with stakeholders and team members. To be successful in the role you need to have worked several years as a full stack engineer coupled with strong leadership and coaching skills.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and building a high-performance team.
• Develop and maintain complex systems
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to create cohesive, impactful solutions.
• Design and improve the architecture of our system and services.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, system reliability, and security.
• Present plans and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• 8+ years of experience in development with expertise in C# and .NET Core
• 5+ years of experience with Typescript, React or similar
• Solid understanding of system design principles and distributed architecture, enabling you to build scalable and reliable services
• Excellent in verbal and written English

Bonus skills

• Solid experience with Azure Cloud
• Experience as a Team Leader, Scrum Master or similar
• An interest and proven experience in AI
