What we offer
Being a architect Driver within Common Base Technology (CBT) means you are a member of a team consisting of Architects, Product System Drivers, Specialist and Technical Experts covering a wide area like communication, resource management, mode management, SW download, data engineering, cyber security, diagnostics, fault management and more for all systems across the entire vehicle.
This is a leader position with responsibility to drive development of our future concepts and system solutions to support our ambitions within e.g. electrification, autonomous drive and connectivity.
This specific System Architect position is responsible for system solutions within the areas of SW Download, Over the Air, Communication, Cyber Security and Diagnostic related to the electrical system and its ECU topology.
What you'll do
In cooperation with other architects and system designers within own and external organization you will develop concept and system solutions that secure future needs within the area. This means understanding the needs and requirements, how the system works today and how it will evolve over time.
The solutions you work with shall often be implemented widely across the vehicle and involve collaboration in ART's and solutions also outside of CBT. Facilitating common understanding of the technical solution to be implemented is vital which means collaboration and iteration is a crucial part of the daily work.
Who you are?
To succeed in this role, it is most important that you are a curious quick learner who enjoys entering new areas. As you will collaborate with many people cross our company, we expect that you have excellent collaboration and communication skills, are fluent in English both verbal and written, and enjoy working in a team. Since this is a senior engineering position you are expected to have leadership skills and personal interest to further support people in their development.
You have good knowledge and experience in system development and need to keep customers view of your solution high in focus. To be able to drive on an overarching level it is necessary that you have long experience from several areas' technical areas in different positions and detail level.
Furthermore, we think you have an MSc education in mechatronics, software engineering knowledge, system safety experience, power electronics or similar and + 10 years of relevant working experience. Software architecture and ECU toplogy skills are meritorious.
