Senior Frontend Developer

The Role
As part of our cross-functional product team, you'll take ownership of the frontend for DeLaval Plus - from discovery and design through to development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, QA engineers, and backend developers to ship features that truly matter to our customers.
We're looking for a frontend developer who thrives in a team environment, writes clean and maintainable code, and brings a pragmatic approach to product development. You care about performance, quality, and long-term impact, not just delivering code that works.

Role and responsibilities
You'll be hands-on with our modern frontend stack:
- Languages & Frameworks: TypeScript, Vue, CSS, HTML
- Testing & Quality: Cypress, Jest, SonarQube
- Build Tools: Webpack, System.js
- CI/CD & Version Control: Git, GitLab Pipelines
- Monitoring & Observability: Grafana, Sentry, Loki, OpsGenie
- Cloud & APIs: AWS (S3), REST APIs
- Accessibility & i18n: WCAG standards, internationalization best practices
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain the frontend of our core product, DeLaval Plus
- Contribute to UI/UX discussions and technical architecture decisions
- Write maintainable code with good test coverage and automated tests
- Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across devices and regions
- Help monitor and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with support teams and continuously improve based on feedback
- Stay up to date with modern frontend best practices - and help your teammates do the same
Qualifications
- You've got 5+ years of frontend development experience, ideally with production systems
- You're hands-on and proactive, with a track record of owning features from concept to deployment
- You care deeply about code quality, accessibility, and performance
- You're a great collaborator - curious, communicative, and happy to challenge ideas respectfully
- You value MVP thinking - delivering real value early without compromising on long-term quality
- You're customer-focused - motivated by building tools that help real people in the field
- You're comfortable working in agile product teams and speaking English professionally
- You're open to working from our Tumba office at least 3 days a week
- Bonus: You speak Swedish and have a driver's license - so you can visit farms and connect with our users firsthand
