Om jobbet

We are now looking for an Operational Excellence Manager to strengthen our warehouse and outbound operations in Kallhäll. This is a key role for driving continuous improvement, operational performance and cross-functional development initiatives across the site - and beyond.

You will act as the right hand to the Warehouse Manager, while also taking responsibility for larger improvement initiatives across Warehouse & Outbound, working closely with central and global stakeholders. While the role is anchored in Kallhäll, you will collaborate with teams across Sweden and Europe, including travel as part of driving improvement and implementation projects.

The role spans operational, tactical and strategic levels, making it ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on execution with long-term development.

How you will make an impact
  • Drive continuous improvements through the CI pipeline, lean methodologies and structured performance management
  • Own and support the project year planning, including prioritization and follow-up of improvement initiatives
  • Analyze processes and value streams to identify improvement opportunities and clearly demonstrate the financial impact of your initiatives through data and KPIs
  • Lead and implement cost-out initiatives, productivity improvements, process and organizational optimizations and support with clear decision material
  • Drive and support CAPEX projects, including business cases, implementation and follow-up
  • Act as a key interface between local operations, central functions and global Center of Excellence teams
  • Contribute to a strong continuous improvement culture by coaching, facilitating workshops and engaging teams
  • Support implementation of new technologies, automation solutions and digital tools

What will make you successful

You are a proactive and structured improvement leader with a strong operational understanding and the ability to translate strategy into action. You thrive in roles with many interfaces and are comfortable working with people at all levels of the organisation.

As a person, you are driven and ambitious by nature, bringing energy and initiative to the projects you take part in. Your planning skills are strong and your analytical mindset enables you to turn complex challenges into tangible results. You are comfortable with change management and development, and you communicate clearly and confidently. You bring energy and initiative to your work, challenge existing ways of working, and are always ready to contribute new ideas and solutions.

We believe you have
  • Relevant university degree within logistics, engineering, supply chain or equivalent experience
  • Several years of experience from logistics or supply chain in an improvement-focused role preferably within food, FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment
  • A strong lean mindset and experience of continuous improvement frameworks
  • Ability to work operationally, tactically and strategically
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven way of working
  • Experience of project management and cross-functional initiatives (an advantage)
  • Interest in technology, automation and digitalization (an advantage)
  • Skilled user in MS office, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

What we offer

At Arla, you will have the opportunity to work in a role with real impact on business results, people and ways of working. You will be part of a collaborative environment where continuous improvement, learning and development are key pillars.

This role offers
  • Broad exposure across warehouse, outbound and central/global initiatives
  • A strong mandate to drive change and improvement
  • Opportunities to work with large improvement and investment projects
  • A role with both local anchoring and cross-functional reach

You will join the Logistics Development Team, a newly established and growing team focused on developing warehouse and outbound operations across Sweden. As the team continues to take shape, you will have the opportunity to influence ways of working, priorities and help build a strong improvement culture across the logistics organisation.

If you are motivated by creating impact, driving improvements that matter and being part of something still taking shape, this is a role where you can truly make a difference.

Arla Foods has collective agreements and offers competitive working conditions. Safety and working environment are top priorities, and we conduct random drug and alcohol tests.
