Job descriptionWe are looking for a skilled Software Tester - Roof Systems to join a dynamic and fast-paced development team working on advanced interior automotive systems. This role focuses on theRoof Zone Module, contributing to innovative features such as overhead consoles, lighting systems, sensors, and integrated functionalities.
You will be part of a cross-functional team including system designers, software developers, project leaders, and testers, all working collaboratively to deliver high-quality automotive solutions.
Location:Gothenburg, Sweden
Experience Level:4-6 years (Mid-level)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform verification and validation (V&V) of ECU systems from sourcing to industrialization
- Design and execute test cases based on requirements and functional specifications
- Conduct testing across multiple levels: Component, HIL, and Complete Vehicle
- Validate core functionalities such as diagnostics, software download, and system integrations
- Work with HIL environments to execute automated and manual test scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between requirements and implementation
- Identify, track, and manage defects in a structured and efficient manner
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
- 4-6 years of experience in software testing within the automotive industry
- Strong experience with:
- HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) Testing
- Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer)
- CI/CD processes and tools
- Experience working with ECU testing and validation
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Valid European Driving License (Category B)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of System Weaver and Elektra
- Understanding of in-vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Experience with Python for test automation
- Ability to derive test cases from requirements and functional descriptions

Salary range: From 46,667 SEK to 56,667 SEK
The stated salary falls within the established salary range for the position and is determined based on experience, skills, and level of responsibility, in accordance with our policy of fair and non-discriminatory compensation.
