Your role and responsibilities
At ABB Robotics, we work in a globally distributed R&D organization, and in our Västerås R&D center, all core engineering fields are represented, from software to electronics and mechanical development. Here, we are developing the next generation of industrial and collaborative robots in close cooperation with our global customers.
We are facing an expansive period and need to strengthen our software team with competence in product safety. Our local group of software requirement engineers has grown. We are now looking for a leader of the group that will own the backlog, manage stakeholders and act as a scrum master for the group as well as actively contributing to the requirements, certifications and related documentations.
We are developing safety according to (but not limited to) ISO13849, ISO10218. The person we are looking for should be an experienced safety developer/requirement engineer that would like to grow as leader for the local software requirement team. We are co-located and are limiting our search to applicants that can join our team in Västerås according to our 4-1 in office policy.
Your responsibilities:
- Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues within software design and development, both local group and in a global context
- Provide documentation for safety certifications.
- Write and maintain safety requirements in Polarion
Your background
- B.Sc or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Physics & Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of experience in product safety as requirement engineer, developer or scrum master
