Job Description

Basic qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline

5+ years of software development experience

Experience with one or more common web-backend languages, such as (but not limited to) Java, Go, .NET, C/ C++/C#, Python, Node.js, and/or one or more common frontend languages such as JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar.

SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases

Unit testing frameworks (for backend developers)

Best development practices like Agile

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Proven experience building server software on a cloud platform

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Postman, Git, Maven, Gradle

Working experience with REST APIs and designing

Messaging within a microservice architecture using Kafka or similar

Spring, Spring Boot, JMS (for Java Developers)

Knowledge of relevant standards in the area of your expertise

Creative debugging skills

Soft skills we're looking for
