Job description

We are looking for a Software Domain Lead - Automotive Software to lead the technical direction, delivery, and quality of a defined software domain within a complex automotive environment.

In this role, you will act as the key interface between product owners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on scope, risks, dependencies, and release content. You will drive technical decisions, manage escalations, and ensure high-quality software delivery across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the technical direction, prioritization, and delivery quality for the assigned software domain
  • Act as the main interface between product owners, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
  • Drive technical decision-making, issue resolution, and escalation handling
  • Lead Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and secure key decisions
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability of software requirements (system implementation validation)
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle (design, integration, testing, release)
  • Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR (Adaptive/Classic) architectures and standards
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to software quality, delivery, and performance
  • Use lifecycle and requirements management tools for planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Foster strong collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders


Required Skills
  • Strong experience with AUTOSAR (Adaptive and/or Classic)
  • Solid understanding of software lifecycle management
  • Experience with KPI monitoring and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of traceability and requirements management tools
  • Ability to work in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment


Profile
  • 7-10 years of experience in software engineering within automotive or embedded systems
  • Proven experience in technical leadership or coordination roles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle prioritization, risks, and dependencies effectively

Salary range: From 46 667 SEK to 56 667 SEK (gross, per month)

The stated salary falls within the established salary range for the position and is determined based on experience, skills, and level of responsibility, in accordance with our policy of fair and non-discriminatory compensation.
