We are looking for a Software Developer to join our innovative team in Kista and help steer the digitalization of global cargo handling. At Bromma, you'll work on the complete diagnostic lifecycle, developing the telematic software that serves as the backbone of our digital strategy. In this role you will report to our Manager for R&D Cloud and Diagnostics.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Bromma's diagnostic and cloud platforms, working on a codebase that is now fully managed and developed in-house.
- Work across the full diagnostic lifecycle, building software for onboard telematics, machine-level diagnostics, and cloud-based prognostics.
- Contribute to full-stack development projects, ranging from handling raw machine data to building out functional user interfaces.
- Collaborate within the R&D Cloud and Diagnostics team, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver technical solutions.
- Implement Bromma's digital roadmap, focusing on the practical application of software to improve cargo handling operations.
- Translate technical requirements into reliable, scalable code that supports the performance and monitoring of heavy machinery globally.

What you bring to the role:
- Experience with AWS and DevOps practices, including working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Practical knowledge of Spring Boot and Node.js.
- A solid understanding of Linux environments and experience coding in C++ or Java.
- Experience in cloud-backed development with an interest in how software interacts with hardware.
- A B.Sc. degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional work experience.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Swedish is considered an asset.
