About the Assignment

In this assignment you will take a key role as a Software Architect within an automotive embedded environment, responsible for defining and evolving software architecture that meets performance, safety and compliance expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure robust integration strategies, scalable frameworks and clear architectural direction across development efforts.

Job DescriptionDefine and design software architectures aligned with system requirements and project objectives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into overall system architectures

Develop and document software design patterns, frameworks and best practices

Drive scalability, reliability and maintainability through robust architectural principles

Conduct architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams

Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies across software development initiatives

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE

Support system integration and validation activities to ensure alignment with the defined architecture

Contribute to strategic decisions regarding technology and tool adoption

Create and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams and interface definitions

Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and refine architectural requirements and constraints

Evaluate third-party tools, frameworks and libraries for architectural compatibility

Mentor and guide junior engineers in architectural principles and implementation

RequirementsExperience designing software architecture in automotive embedded environments

Ability to define software architectures aligned with system requirements and integration needs

Experience producing and maintaining software architecture documentation (e.g., diagrams and interface definitions)

Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE and how to ensure compliance in architecture work

Ability to lead or facilitate architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
