At International Färg's production site in Gunnilse outside of Gothenburg we manufacture global world leading protective coatings for bridges, wind turbines, sport arenas and more under the brand International. International Färg has since 1998 been a part of AkzoNobel. At the site you will also find sales and marketing offices for our three business segments: Marine & Protective, Yacht Coatings and Powder Coatings for the Nordic region. We are about 150 proud employees, together we represent a wide variety of nationalities, working together to make the world more colorful.

What will you do?
As Site Manager, you define and drive the execution of site production, ensuring the operation consistently delivers on safety, quality, cost, service, productivity, and people development. You set the manufacturing strategy and translate business objectives into robust site plans, while continuously improving performance through operational excellence and disciplined management. Acting as the face of the site, you build strong internal and external relationships, develop a high performing leadership team, and create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and compliance.
- Own and execute the site manufacturing strategy and site master plan, aligned with business and supply chain objectives
- Lead site performance across safety, quality, cost, service, productivity, asset care, and ecoefficiency, using data and analysis to drive improvement
- Implement and operate HSE standards, AkzoNobel's Leading Performance System and Continuous Improvement processes, and compliance requirements, acting as a visible role model
- Develop, coach, and lead the site management team, building a strong talent pipeline and high engagement
- Act as the primary external representative for the site, managing relationships with customers, authorities, community, and other stakeholders
Who are you?
You are a senior manufacturing leader with a strong track record of running complex production sites and delivering sustainable results. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership and are comfortable working in a matrix organization. You lead with integrity, prioritize safety, and are passionate about developing people and building an inclusive, high-performance culture.
* Degree qualified engineer (mechanical, electrical, or chemical)
* Proven factory management experience, ideally in coatings, industrial, or FMCG environments
* At least 5 years' experience in batch process manufacturing
* Strong leadership capability with experience in talent development, engagement, and performance management
* Confident communicator and stakeholder manager, internally and externally
* Fluent in Swedish and English
