The Opportunity

We're offering an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed and fast-growing PGSV team in Ludvika, Sweden. As a Shipping and Customs Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth outbound logistics and customs operations for a global customer base. You'll report directly to the Recruiting Manager Silvija Stirbyte and be part of the Order and Project Management team, currently consisting of 8 dedicated team members.

How you'll make an impact

Ensure timely and compliant delivery through outbound logistics and customs processes

Work with a diverse portfolio of global customers and partners - both internal and external

Collaborate with freight forwarders and ensure compliance with transport and customs regulations

Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Order, Sales, Finance, Planning, Production, and SCM

Stay current with regulatory changes and inform internal stakeholders, while identifying skill development needs

Implement and maintain procedures for origin, classification, customs value, and declarations

Escalate customs issues that deviate from procedures or pose risks to the company

Ensure third-party customs work (e.g. freight forwarders, suppliers) follows established procedures

Your background

You hold a degree in the fields of Business administration, Engineering, Purchasing, Customs or relevant work experience connected to this role

You are driven, innovative, well organized and know how to prioritize your daily work

You have great communication skills and are service-minded

Strong communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken

Knowledge of Polish is a plus
