Assignment Overview
Our client in the banking sector is seeking a Senior System Architect with extensive experience in IT architecture, infrastructure, and platform technologies, preferably within Core Banking environments.
Primary Responsibilities
Contribute to the documentation of Information Systems and Platform Enabler Capabilities.
Support the creation of core documentation (e.g., SDD, TRRD).
Stay current on technological developments and best practices in IT solution and infrastructure domains.
Identify opportunities to evolve the architecture to enhance:
Cost-efficiency
Agility
Risk reduction
Business capabilities
Lead and participate in the design of IT systems and infrastructure in accordance with architectural governance.
Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps for Core Banking systems and infrastructure.
Collaborate with Product Management and Release Train Engineers to drive delivery of technology solutions.
Enforce and advocate architectural principles, best practices, and standard change initiatives.
Conduct frequent IT solution reviews aligned with the IT strategy.
Define, monitor, and manage Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) across the development lifecycle.
Coach technical teams (development, platform, operations, infrastructure) on:
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Monitoring and root cause analysis
Technology best practices
NFR compliance
Collaboration & Communication (One Team Approach)
Build and maintain effective working relationships across departments to enhance architectural practices.
Foster stakeholder alignment to resolve issues and guide toward target architecture objectives.
