Job Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join their team in Gothenburg. This role focuses on aligning business requirements with scalable technical solutions within the Map Tracking product domain.

You will play a key role in shaping architecture strategies, collaborating closely with development teams, and working alongside cross-functional units responsible for interconnected map-based services. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on involvement in designing modern cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate business needs into effective and scalable technical architecture solutions

Architect and evolve microservices within the Map Tracking and Planning domain

Evaluate, design, and enhance existing systems while driving innovation for new functionalities

Define and communicate architectural frameworks, structures, and design principles to both frontend and backend teams

Lead architectural reviews and ensure alignment with best practices and long-term goals

Present technical solutions and design strategies to stakeholders and decision-makers

Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure seamless integration across dependent systems

Promote cost-efficient, maintainable, and high-performing solution designs

Continuously improve architecture processes and contribute to technical excellence

Required Experience:

Several years of proven experience in solution architecture, system design, and development in customer-facing environments

Strong background in modern frontend technologies, particularly React, React Hooks, and state management libraries

Hands-on expertise in designing and implementing AWS Serverless architectures

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using AWS CDK

Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, observability, security, and performance optimization

Educational Qualification:

University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

Required Skills:

Expertise in AWS cloud services and serverless architecture

Strong knowledge of React and modern frontend development frameworks

Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable system architectures

Experience with DevSecOps practices and agile methodologies

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and distributed teams

Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Preferred / Additional Skills:

Basic knowledge of Swedish language

Experience working in international and cross-functional environments

Familiarity with domains such as IoT, autonomous systems, or digital transformation initiatives

Exposure to modern microservices-based platforms and cloud-native ecosystems

Additional Requirements:

Valid work permit for Sweden (if not an EU citizen)

Strong leadership mindset with the ability to motivate and guide teams

Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
