Join Biotage as a Senior Software Development Manager and lead cutting-edge innovation across global platforms, driving impactful solutions in a collaborative, high-tech environment.Biotage is seeking a Senior Software Development Managerto lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team responsible for all software development across our diverse product portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of platforms and technologies including C, Java, C#, WPF, JavaFX, Angular, and Java Script supported by a suite of development tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the software development team based in Uppsala
- Oversee software development for system-level software across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Actively contribute to the strategic planning as part of the Biotage R&D leadership team.
- Drive resource allocation, project execution and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate cross functionally with global stakeholders in Sales, R&D, and regional markets.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and strategic technology roadmaps
- Own and continuously improve software development processes, tools, and quality assurance practices
Skills and Experience:
- MSc in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in Product Development
- Strong leadership with experience in a managerial role
- Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast paced, evolving environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence across teams
