Are you passionate about usingcomputer vision and machine learningto make driving safer? Astek is looking for aSenior Software Engineerto join in Linköping. You'll work close to bothalgorithm research and production software, helping deliver active safety and automated driving features running on Qualcomm's automotive platforms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, or similar
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Good programming skills in Python and C/C++
• Solid experience with modern development practices (testing, code reviews, CI/CD)
• Great teamwork mindset with the ability to take ownership and deliver high-quality results

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize computer vision & ML algorithms for active safety functions
• Develop robust production-quality software in Python and C/C++
• Collaborate with algorithm, systems and validation engineers to take features from concept to production
• Drive technical workstreams, contribute to architecture/design discussions, and mentor junior engineers
• Support continuous improvements of tools, ways of working, and development processes
