About the Assignment
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of an existing edge-to-cloud data architecture. You will maintain and continuously improve an end-to-end stack spanning edge devices at customer sites, cloud backend services, and a web-based frontend. The environment is reliability- and security-focused, where robust engineering, continuous improvement, and production-minded decisions are central.
Job DescriptionOwn and evolve an edge-to-cloud architecture, ensuring stability across edge, backend, and frontend layers
Develop and maintain services and applications primarily using Go and React
Work with containerized deployments and operations using Kubernetes on AWS
Contribute to system testing, debugging, documentation, and functional improvements
Drive reliability and security improvements across the stack, including authentication and encryption-related considerations
Challenge requirements and propose better technical alternatives when appropriate
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
RequirementsSeveral years of experience building and maintaining production systems
Proven experience taking technical ownership of a solution or subsystem
Strong hands-on development experience with regular coding responsibilities
Experience with Go and React
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working with Kubernetes on AWS
Familiarity with security best practices relevant to web applications in industrial settings, including data encryption and authentication methods
Fluency in English
Nice to haveFluency in Swedish
Experience with Rancher
Experience with Teleport
Experience with MongoDB
Experience with MQTT
Experience with Git and Postman
